With emotion to
less emission

Our path to a climate-neutral trade fair presence

Our aim is to consciously avoid emissions. This means rethinking familiar processes and adopting new approaches. And that can sometimes be uncomfortable and cost additional time and money. But in the end, we are proud of what we have achieved so far. And we get better with every trade fair appearance.

We have taken each component and tried to make it more sustainable. And how? By 1. avoidance, 2. reduction, 3. equalisation. For example, we avoid materials and special constructions that are only used once. This significantly reduces the amount that has to be disposed of after the trade fair. We work exclusively with regional partners who are just as committed to sustainability as we are. Non-recyclable materials and other materials of natural origin are utilised in the stand builder's own pellet heating system.

And our demands on catering: Reusable. Plastic-free. Regional. Here we pay attention to regional and seasonal products, if possible in organic quality and completely dispense with disposable crockery - crockery is cleaned on site and reused. You won't find any portion packs here: Coffee cream, sugar and sauces are served from jugs or dispensers.

We do without printed brochures. The paper saved saves resources. Without print production and transport to Munich, there are no emissions at all. In the end, many of the printed brochures usually end up in the rubbish or have to be transported back again. There are QR codes all over the stand and on our vehicles. These will take you to our website with detailed information and digital brochures.

The remaining emissions that cannot be avoided are calculated precisely and offset through the purchase of recognised climate protection certificates. This finances high-quality climate protection projects which, in addition to reducing greenhouse gases, demonstrably make a positive contribution to sustainable development locally and regionally.

Our information terminals consist of pallet frames on Euro pallets and untreated wood. When there is no trade fair, they are in use at a wide variety of locations at our sites.

Our transport crates for the exhibition material consisting of a pallet and pallet frame. During the event, we use these as plant containers at the trade fair. The fresh plants purchased on site are used at our locations.

You can hardly see it and it costs more: we don't use disposable carpet. We use rented carpet tiles. These are cleaned and replaced after the event.

A second life - We try to throw away as little as possible. We are already planning how and where we can continue to use Ding after the trade fair.

The untreated woodchippings are roughly cleaned and reused.

You won't find any portion packs here: Coffee creamer, sugar and sauces are available in jugs or dispensers.

Our cutlery napkins are 100 % bio-based, with binders made from food industry waste such as lemon peel & corn and contain no fossil content.
